This postcard features a beautiful mountain landscape, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hiking in the Smoky Mountains has always been a family favorite of ours. When we are not there, the mountains are always calling! Therefore, John Muir's famous quote: 'The mountains are calling and I must go.' really speaks to us. This photo was taken from the top of Mt. LeConte, on Myrtle Point, the morning after snow fell in the higher elevations.
